The Forks Walk and Talk

Learn about the Métis Nation’s enduring relationships with land in Winnipeg, and explore one of its oldest Métis communities, Saint Boniface. Delve into Métis history and contemporary art at one of the most signification meeting places in Métis history, the junction of the Red and Assiniboine rivers. Pay your respects at Louis Riel’s resting place, or visit a memorial to the Métis who suffered under General Wolseley after the Red River Resistance.
The Walk and Talk will begin at The Forks Market (1 Forks Market Road) and end in Saint Boniface.
